Working with Birmingham City Council and Smartlyte, this programme investigated barriers in provision of healthy, affordable food by food businesses in East Birmingham.

Exploring experiences of Covid-19 in Southampton

Voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations around Southampton expressed their interest in recruiting peer researchers to explore issues around Covid-19 and support collective action.

Civic Journey

This two-year programme, led and shaped by young people, worked to rethink the national infrastructure for youth support. It was funded by the National Citizen Service and DCMS, and delivered with the Universities of Sheffield and Huddersfield.

Thames Futures – Reviewing the vision for Barking Riverside

In 2019, local community and peer researchers to co-created a vision for the future of Thames Ward in Barking and Dagenham. This projects reviews progress against that vision.

Diversity and inclusion in Community Land Trusts

Work with the Community Land Trust Network, training and supporting their members and volunteers to undertake peer research on diversity and inclusion.

Understanding youth priorities post-Covid

The National Lottery Community Fund funded a Youth-Led Peer Researcher Network, supporting 60 young people across England to put their voices at the heart of future funding decisions.

Digital exclusion in the West Midlands

We explored experiences of digital exclusion on behalf of the West Midlands Combined Authority, conducting research until March 2022.  

Understanding youth violence

This was the first phase of a two-phase programme, which aims to give young people the chance to make their communities safer, fairer places to live. It is funded by the Youth Endowment Fund, the #iwill Fund, and the Co-op Group.
